Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account or using CourtVis, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old, able to enter a binding agreement, and authorized to provide the information you submit. If you use CourtVis for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for it.

CourtVis is a software platform

CourtVis provides tools for scheduling, communication, video, forms, documents, and recordkeeping related to supervised visitation. CourtVis is not a law firm, court, law-enforcement agency, emergency service, healthcare provider, or substitute for professional advice. Use of the service does not guarantee a legal outcome, provider availability, or court acceptance of any record.

Accounts and access

  • Keep account credentials confidential and use accurate account information.
  • Use only the cases and records you are authorized to access.
  • Notify CourtVis promptly if you believe an account or case has been accessed improperly.
  • Do not share download links, recordings, or documents with unauthorized people.

User content and privacy

You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant CourtVis the limited permission needed to host, process, display, transmit, and secure that content to provide the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to submit and share content, including information about children and other participants.

Recordings and communications

Recording and consent laws vary by location and circumstance. Users are responsible for complying with applicable notice, consent, court-order, and professional requirements. Do not use CourtVis to record or monitor anyone unlawfully.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service to threaten, harass, exploit, impersonate, or endanger another person.
  • Do not attempt to bypass access controls, probe other accounts, upload malware, or interfere with the service.
  • Do not use automated methods to extract data except through an authorized integration.
  • Do not upload content that is unlawful or that you do not have permission to use.

Availability, changes, and termination

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability, or legal compliance. We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, risk to users, or legal requirements. Users may request account deletion through available settings, subject to shared-record and legal retention requirements.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. CourtVis does not supervise visits itself unless expressly agreed in a separate written arrangement, and independent professionals remain responsible for their services and judgment. To the extent permitted by law, CourtVis is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
